Indie MMO Spotlight: Anvils, Heroes, And Discounts

Each week, we scour the internet for all things indie MMO-related, so you don’t have to. This week, Anvil Empires makes an appearance at Steam Next Fest, The Quinfall takes a massive price cut, and City of Heroes unleashes the Issue 28 Page 2 update on the Open Beta servers. Plenty of other stuff is also going on, so let’s quit wasting time and get started with this week’s Indie MMO Spotlight.

Anvil Empires
It’s Steam Next Fest time, and this go-around, you have a chance to try out Anvil Empires. Will AE be as fun as Foxhole? Now’s your chance to find out. You can check out the Next Fest trailer below. And just in case the teaser trailer has piqued your interest, but you don’t have the time to try out Anvil Empires for yourself, you can always take a peek at what MMORPG staffer Ralph Whitmore thinks of the MMO in his hands-on preview.

BitCraft

It has been a while since Life is Feudal: Arden, the free-to-play spinoff of the resurrected Life is Feudal: MMO was announced. Now Arden has received a big update and is now available on Epic Games Store.

Palia
In case you were wondering, Palia is fully playable on the Nintendo Switch 2. Unfortunately, that doesn’t mean the cozy MMO is exempt from the technical issues that resulted in the early departure of the Maji Market. Fortunately, there will be a makeup Maji Market event June 12-16.

Martin makes a rare appearance in Development Log #486. 
The Quinfall
The Quinfall is currently 90% off on Steam. You have until June 16th to get the MMO for just $1.99. Looking for some extra buffs while you play? Mysterious statues of Pelthera can now be found in all major cities across Quinfall. Visit the statue and offer up some silver to get some unique buffs.

Realm of the Mad God
Season 21, Part 2 is now live. The new update includes a new Void Event along with several bug fixes.
