Star Trek Online is brewing up Tholian Trouble 2025 on console tomorrow. Xbox and PlayStation players can face the Tholians, who have captured Romulan ships in the Azure Nebula. Help the Romulan Star Empire to free them and earn some rewards.
Azure Nebula Rescue and Vault: Ensnared are the event Task Force Operations. Earn daily progress towards the grand prize by playing either of these TFOs every 20 hours. The 2025 event campaign progress will offer the Tholian Shocktroper Radiation Cannon to all players. This assault weapon can hit multiple enemies, increase damage and crits with Overheat mode or use Imploding Web Grenade, which pulls your enemies together and roots them for 8 seconds.
Complete 14 days of daily progress and you’ll unlock the new weapon for your account. If you claim the prize, keep participating and you’ll get daily Dilithium Ore bonuses, starting at 8,000 and scaling up.. If you’ve been making progress and you want to unlock the rest, there is a Zen buyout option.
The event begins tomorrow, May 28th, and runs until June 17th on Xbox and PlayStation, so you have time to save some Romulans and make progress towards those rewards.
