Everquest 2 is giving away a furry friend yet again for Pride, and this one’s as cute as ever. Now through the rest of June, players can pick up a free red panda sporting some nifty colors as this year’s Pride Month Familiar.
Erollisi’s Red Pandas, as they’re called, come in three pride flag colors this year: Proudheart, Trueheart, and Boundless Heart, representing the pride, transgender, and bisexual flags respectively.
If you missed any familiars from years past, you can also pick them up for free on the marketplace, according to the news post. Specifically, you can grab the unique Mithaniel’s Lions and the Erollisi’s Hares, which similarly represent a deeper breadth of different pride flags. (They make this year’s selections seem a little slim, but whatever.)
Meanwhile, there’s a beta server for the Kingdom of Sky Origins server expansion going for another week or so, if you want to get a jump start on checking that out.
(Also, did you know that red pandas have pivoting bones that aren’t quite thumbs, but act as thumbs so that they can pick up and eat bamboo? They can also taste Splenda.)
