Elden Ring: Nightreign Reveals Final Class, The Revenant (and a Day-One Patch) Ahead of Launch

Elden Ring: Nightreign revealed its eighth and final playable class, the Revenant, in a new trailer.  Before the game unlocks tonight, there’s a launch trailer and a day one patch.

The Revenant has a pale and ghostly appearance that aligns with her abilities as a ranged magical class specializing in using spirits. She wears a white gown, a blue cape, blue flowers in her long white hair, and plays a lyre.
The official caption on the trailer sets the tone: “Born of sorrow, shaped by the Night. When vengeance stirs, the dead rise in answer”. She’s not one to underestimate.

She’s a summoner and her passive is Necromancy. We get a taste of this as what this does is enemies you defeat could revive as allies to fight alongside you. She also gets to summon spirits, with several souls possible to back her up. In the trailer we get to see her spirit allies fighting alongside her and offering up additional help.

Her ultimate makes her a key clutch support.  Not only can she give  temporary immortality to her living allies, she can revive allies that are close to death as well.
Now that all classes have gotten their spotlight, Elden Ring: Nightreign also gets a special action-packed trailer set to the Evanescence hit “Bring Me To Life” just in time for the game to begin unlocking on PC and console tonight into tomorrow.
There’s also a day-one patch, with vague fixes, and some advice for PC users.
