DC Universe Online’s latest update opens up the next Patrol for Campaign 2025, adds private matchmaking, and a visual update on PC.
Patrol 2: Justice League Dark Cursed is the second chapter of Campaign 2025, a rewarding year-long series of events, Patrol Events to complete, and rewards to earn. Completing the latest Patrol event will contribute to your campaign progress. Patrol 2 also gives you a shot at the new John Constantine Ally. Earn enough progress in each of the four parts of the series you can earn your choice of Mega Rewards. If you missed any of the previous patrols, there will be a buyout offered.
This patch also adds some important features. Private matchmaking has arrived. In the custom play section of the On-Duty menu you can choose “private match”. Pick this and it will start an instance immediately with the members of your group without going through the matchmaking process. The team warns that if you try to take on content with a group lower than the recommended size, things may not work but report any bugs if you find them.

Finally, the Reward Reclaim menu gets an update. Through May 27th, you’ll have an option to buy out older non-patrol rewards, but going forward the window for rewards will be limited to four weeks after an event ends.
