The highly-anticipated MMORPG Chrono Odyssey has finally unveiled the dates of its first playtest at Summer Game Fest, and those interested can sign up now. It was teased last month without an official date, but now, it’s sooner than we think, taking place June 20-22 via Steam.
“Everything in Chrono Odyssey is about how time—and the loss of it—shapes the world and its fate,” said Sangtae Yoon, Executive Producer, in a press release about this announcement. “This new trailer is a narrative invitation to players. The first closed beta is your chance to experience that world for yourself. We can’t wait to see what players think.”
Playtest access can now be requested through Steam’s playtest access program on the official Chrono Odyssey page.
An official news post outlines the specific times as starting at midnight PDT on Friday, June 20, and going on until 11:59 PDT on Sunday, June 22, so you get a solid 72 hours of playtime. The minimum requirements are also outlined here, as well as some major questions. This one won’t be NDA’d, and it’ll only be available on PC for this go.
