World of Warships Announces 5th The Longest Night of Museums Event, Focusing on WW2 Ships

World of Warships is bringing back The Longest Night of Museums, its fifth annual event, focusing on warships involved in World War II and shining a spotlight on museums around the world that preserve these vehicles. 

On May 18th at 9am PDT, the annual livestream event will commemorate the World War II warships and highlight a number of museums as well as their role in the evolution of these crafts as well as their impact on changing roles during the war. Highlighted museums include the USS Intrepid aircraft carrier and museum, the USS Wisconsin, and the USS Cod. Watch for at least an hour and claim a Twitch Drop.

This year’s fifth anniversary of the museum event also adds the Naval Museum Atlas, a new digital platform intended to aid in discovery of naval museums around the world. At launch there will be nine featured museums on an interactive map. The project is set to grow with new entries and new features, including museum perks via World of Warships’ is Captain’s Club and in-game bonus codes that you can get at participating museums.
Also for the anniversary, historian Dan Snow of the YouTube channel History Hit will debate AI on ship evolution.
World of Warships  also brings Operation Dynamo, which commemorates 85 years since the evacuation of 300,000 from Dunkirk, with a new event pass, new unlocks, a limited time Port activity, and more. Limited time game mode, Perilous Route,  is also coming and you’ll have to escort a damaged command ship to its destination while facing  waves of enemy ships.
