V Rising’s 1.1 Update, Invaders of Oakveil, Gets First Trailer and New Cosmetics DLC Ahead of This Month’s Launch

V Rising’s first post-launch update, Invaders of Oakveil, now has its first trailer ahead of launch on April 28th. Stunlock Studios has also announced a new cosmetic DLC pack.

Featured in the update is the new zone of the Oakveil Woodlands, A forest that has been changed  via corruption by dark magic. Along the northern shore, you’ll find the Venom Blades, who serve the Serpent Queen Megara, moving to invade further. In the forest, discover venom sap, take on new enemies,  new bosses, and even the serpent queen herself in her lair.
Invaders of Oakveil introduces new mechanics, new weapons and spells, upgraded Alchemy, deeper customization, and of course, lots of new features for your castle. There are also a number of gameplay enhancements, including overhauled combat, new stat systems, balance changes, and more options to customize your experience.

The Claw, Twinblade, and Throwing Daggers are the three new weapon types that also arrive with seven new spells, giving you even more customization that suits your playstyle. The team has reworked blood types and added a new one, Corrupted Blood. These are key to new elixirs learned from the Venom Blades, offering new powers and strategies to wield. The Fusion Forge adds deeper gear customization.
Castles also get a series of new features, including the ability to design custom arenas and hold practice sessions, tournaments, brawls, and even duels, locally or with others around the world. It wouldn’t be a big update without new decor items, crafting improvements like the ability to craft directly from your chests and treasury rooms, easing inventory stress, and even customizing production lines with new Gloomrot inspired electrical routing.
Stunlock also announced a new cosmetic DLC, the Eternal Domination Pack. For $19.99, this adds some new dark gothic designs for the castle, including golden cages, gilded decor, and more.
Invaders of Oakveil and the new DLC will be out for V Rising April 28th on Steam and PlayStation 5.
