Torchlight: Infinite has officially launched its latest and largest season yet. Season 8, know as Sandlord, invites ARPG fans into a new era of the game that introduces wealth-building, strategic progression, and intense action.
In the latest season of Torchlight: Infinite players will be able to take part in plenty of new features including an ability to construct and manage Cloud Oasis. Cloud Oasis is a floating empire where you’ll defeat Netherrealm foes and earn valuable resources, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. These resources unlock new trade routes and seasonal bonuses, that is meant to bring a deeper economic strategy to the game alongside their classic looting structure.
This season also brings with it a new cahracter. The desecrated channeler, Thea, will bring a new playstyle to the game. Her Blasphemer trait increases Erosion Damage, making her a master of damage-over-time builds.
Finally, the team has made some changes to the Deep Space region within the Netherrealm. The new revamped Deep Space region now boasts five densely populated stages and introduces new reward modifiers called Probes that increase both loot quality and difficulty.
Players that have been gone for a while will certainly want to jump back in and see what’s new. To add a little extra to entice players to join there’s a limited-time Sands of Fortune event, which offers a $250,000 cash prize pool, and will run until May 1st, 2025. Sandlord is live across all platforms, including Mobile, PC, now.
