World of Warcraft The War Within 11.1.5 is live today, and with it, Nightfall Scenario, the arrival of the cooldown manager, and the return of the Winds of Mysterious Fortune buff.
With today’s update, you can now use the new cooldown manager within your UI through the game menu’s Advnced Options sub-menu. Enable the feature and cooldowns and buffs will be visible in customizable HUD elements. You’ll get a visual reminder of when the ability is ready to use again and you can put the manager wherever it’s most helpful.
The new Nightfall Scenario has you tasked with defending the Arathi alongside the Flame’s Radiance faction against Sureki forces. The event will spawn every hour and there are several phases to do before you get to the final Sureki champion. Participate to earn rewards like armor sets and skins and Renown, and even take on additional quests and complete activities for more. The WoW team has a guide to this event that you can check out to prepare before jumping in.
The Winds of Mysterious Fortune buff is back, offering a 20% XP boost and +200% major faction Renown in Dragonflight zones and 100% major faction Renown in The War Within.
Later, on May 20th, 11.1.5 will add Horrific Visions Revisited, with N’Zoth’s corrupted versions of Stormwind and Orgrimmar to return to. Grab a reliable group or take on the challenge solo with the help of a Construct of Soridormi companion.
In June, expect a new event offering goodies to collect and more, Dastardly Duos.
