Siege Camp’s Anvil Empires Has a Steam Next Fest Demo Out Today

Siege Camp, developers of Foxhole, announced that their massively multiplayer war game and empire builder, Anvil Empires, has a playable demo out today as part of Steam Next Fest.

Like Foxhole, Anvil Empires features massively multiplayer warfare in a persistent world. This time, it’s a medieval world and has its own standout features. The game features conquest and empire building. You can dive into the public demo with a 1000 player battle test that is also going to push the server technology and serve as a stress test.
Expect siege warfare and persistent worlds where players can shape a war but also the world through logistics, empire building, as well as diplomacy, and of course sieges and all out war. Focus on defense and hold your keep against others attacking or even building and deploying seat engines if you want to be a hard hitter.

Not only will your frontlines need to be ready to fight in this war, you’ll also have to consider things like supply lines, infrastructure, resources, farming, and trade. Your actions will impact the world since it is a persistent server.  The consequences of war remain.
If you want to jump into the limited-time demo, you can download it from the Anvil Empires Steam page.
