As the latest in interesting “collab” choices, Destiny 2-themed items are now available in the Sea of Thieves Pirate Emporium cash shop. It’s especially odd given Bungie is owned by Sony, and Rare is owned by rival Microsoft, but we love developer team-ups.
If you want to keep it simple, there are slick Weapons and Costumes to pick up. While the Costumes don’t immediately bring to mind Destiny’s sci-fi world, the Weapons at least have a slick, slightly-futuristic vibe.
There are four main Lightbearer sets to pick up, with some representing the various classes, which include the full bundle of ship parts to pick up. The Lightbearer Ship Bundle keeps a simpler cool green and white pattern, with classic Destiny symbols; the Mighty Lightbearer is a slick black, white and red; the Silent Lightbearer ship shows off green, white and orange; and the Wise mixes bold green and yellow with black.
There are also individual Collector’s items available to grab if you don’t want to commit to the full sets, featuring mastheads and sails with the animals representing each class.
The items are all available in the Pirate Emporium now, in the midst of the Plunder Pass’s Season 16.
