Today, RuneScape launches Pharaoh’s Folly, the second quest in the Return to the Desert storyline.
The quest is now live for members. There are some prerequisites if you want to take on the challenge, including having completed the first quest, Beneath Scabaras’ Sands, and achieved Slayer skill level 87.
The Golden City of Menaphos is under threat from within after Osman’s betrayal in an effort to acquire more power. Amascut’s influence is playing a role too, and Osman becomes more dangerous. It’s up to you to escape the Shifting Tombs, team up with Leela and Ozan and even get help from some furry friends, in the quest that will reveal deep secrets and offer you a chance to stop Osman and his plans. And determne what happens to Menaphos.
Of course, there are rewards to earn, including XP for Thieving and Agility, and a new bracelet called Leela’s Favour. This accessory can teleport you to all of the districts of Menaphos. Use it and you can get to Shifting Tombs, the Sophanem slayer dungeon, and active soul obelisks.
The final quest, Eclipse of the Heart, is coming July 28th.
