This week, Kakao Games is preparing to open pre-registration for upcoming MMORPG Odin: Valhalla Rising.
The game’s pre-registration will open on Thursday, April 3rd. Recently, the team released a teaser trailer created completely in engine that shows off some of the mythical setting, creatures, and other inhabitants that await in the open-world MMO based on Norse myth and legends. Of course, there’s Odin, and Loki will be featured, among others. We get a taste of that in the trailer, along with action and battles to come. Announced back in 2020 under development by Lionheart Studio, Kakao Games released the game in Korea in 2021. Originally, they planned to expand to North America and Europe in 2023.
So, if you vaguely remember this game being announced and making a splash with its action and visuals in shows like G-Star, and maybe forgot about it for a little while, here it is. We don’t know an actual launch date just yet, but with pre-registration opening this week, more info is sure to follow. Once pre-order opens, then we’ll also presumably get a look at any bonuses on offer too.
