Kakao Games will launch its next MMORPG, Odin: Valhalla Rising, on April 29th. Pre-registration for the Norse mythology-inspired MMO opens today, with a new trailer and more details about the game.
The official launch will happen on April 29th on PC and mobile, optimized for cross-play. Preload will happen on April 28th. Not only has pre-registration started, but now we know rewards include a limited edition Viking themed avatar and a mount.
Character name and server reservations are also now available today through April 21st. So if you need a little bit of time to figure out a suitable name based around Norse mythology that isn’t taken yet, now’s your chance.
The Odin: Valhalla Rising website has updated with more game info, like the four available classic classes: warrior, priest, sorceress, and rogue. The open world will take us to places like Midgard and Jotunheim. Prepare for the 30 vs 30 Battle of Valhalla in addition to large-scale co-op battles, dungeons, raids, and future content like guild wars. The team promises no loading screens outside of dungeons, with additional improvements for the global build.
