DC Universe Online is taking us to Mogo in Light and Rain chapter 2,and the team has a new story blog to continue setting the stage for the next big update. This follows the first blog featuring John Stewart, Hal Jordan, Kilowog, and Carol Ferris, that already led us to the Lanterns’ role in what’s to come.
The new story entry, “Burn Like My Power”, features Karu-Sil, a member of the Sinestro Corps, before Sinestro with “knowledge” to offer. Knowledge, that is, of “a campaign of terror”, where criminals and mercenaries and reavers unleashed a series of attacks that initially seemed random.
They were not, as the attackers were under control and being used as puppets by the Black Circle interstellar crime syndicate. Now, Amon Sur, son of Green Lantern, has regained control over the organization.
Eventually, we get on the topic of the planet Mogo, the sentient Green Lantern planet, Mogo. And Karu-Sil’s part in this slice of lore intertwines with the planet. You can read the full blog to see what happens and get rooted in the lore of the next chapter.
With the update launch window sitting in late May, as revealed in the last producer’s letter, we should start getting lots more info soon.
