Tomorrow, BitCraft Online will get a short technical test to help the Clockwork Labs team prepare for Early Access release next month.
This is a technical test, and the team laid out their goals for what they’re looking to check in this test. They make clear that this isn’t going to be a gameplay test and a lot of the build will be stripped back and the majority of gameplay features disabled.
They’re testing the login and multiplayer services at scale, as well as server performance and regional stability with high player loads. They’re testing how core gameplay mechanics like moving around, crossing regions to gathering and basic combat hold up under stress.
Those who have access will just be able to walk around and gather and fight, to cross regions using the waystones, take part in a meteor hunt and collect Hexsteel nuggets that you’ll find scattered around the world and keep them in your inventory.
The test happens tomorrow, May 16th, from 10-2 p.m. ET / 4 p.m.-8 p.m. CET.
