Lost Ark Details Coming Changes to the Western Version After Smilegate RPG Korea Stream

The Lost Ark team has a new update on how announcements made on a recent Korean stream are going to work their way into the Western edition.

There are several upcoming changes that are hitting this month. This reflects ongoing work to have the Western version be closer to the Korean version in a more streamlined approach.
First up are gold and endgame balance changes, with Korea adjusting gold rewards in raids. However, the economy and gold are not on a one-to-one ratio with the Western version. Also, Korea has more of the raids than we do in the western version, so  we will not get the same changes, but the team will keep an eye on things and make smaller adjustments as needed. There will also be an easing of progression costs with Transcendence and Advanced Honing nerfs to help make progression more accessible.
Smilegate RPG is working on solutions to make the gem system a more flexible one,  particularly to assist those leveling multiple characters. The teams are looking at community feedback to determine just what they will eventually adjust. Community feedback also plays a role in the T3 honing dead zone (1580-1620). They are working on something to address this issue but there’s nothing to reveal just yet.
There’s also an update on working to eliminate  bussing services and advertising that goes against the rules, with stronger player penalties.
Finally, official support for German and French will end beginning with the May update after data showed those versions were used by only a small population. Localization will continue in English and Spanish.
