Announced at Summer Game Fest 2025, Last Flag is a more intense take on capture the flag. The third-person shooter will set players against one another in squads of 5-versus-5. Additionally, it will feature a cast of characters that will have their own unique signature abilities and powers.

As it stands, there isn’t a release date for Last Flag, but the Steam page shows that it’s slated to release sometime in 2026. That said, the page does give a vague idea of what the game will play like. For example, you’ll need to fight to keep your flag once you’ve taken it back to your base. So it looks like grabbing and going won’t immediately net you a victory.
And as previously mentioned, you’ll be picking from a set of pre-defined characters; each with their own abilities. These haven’t been detailed yet, but more information will probably come in the future.
