Today’s update for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 lets players trot along with new free content or dive into a new paid DLC story.
The good news for the gallopers out there is that the horse racing patch is for everyone. According to the patch notes, you just have to go to the Nomads’ camp in the Trosky region to partake in the competitions. The patch also adds some new quests to add some fun—Horses for Courses, Racing Horseshoes, and The Executioner’s Edge—as well as some quality-of-horse fixes. Sadly, they claim this is the last free content patch, though.
For those looking for more intensive story, the Brushes with Death DLC also dropped today. For $6.99 or as part of the Expansion Pass, players can embark on a quest to help the Painter, with the reward of a choice of over 100 new shield designs as well as a gear set for Henry.
In addition, there are a ton of fixes and adjustments throughout the game as listed in the game’s full patch notes. The developer’s road map earlier this year shows that there two more story DLC coming out as well.
