For a limited time, all EVE Online players can grab five free days of the Omega premium tier.
It seems the EVE Online team really does want players to take advantage of this offer, as they’re trying to be as clear as possible about how to get it, including publishing a little video clip on how to grab it in the New Eden store. It’s basically: Open the New Eden store, find “5 Days of Omega,” click it, and get it.
This free upgrade is available until April 14.
CCP is hoping players use at least a bit of this time in the final stand against the cruel Drifters, which will have its own slew of events, rewards, and exclusive fights. Capsuleer Day, this year titled “Nexus Reckoning,” actually starts on April 15, a day after the Omega freebie ends, and ends a month later on May 15.
In the meantime, there’s also the EVE Online Fanfest happening in a sold-out in-person event in Iceland and with some streams online.
