Grinding Gear Games is finally ready to release Path of Exile’s next expansion update, 3.26, Secrets of the Atlas, on June 13th. Next week, the team will reveal the details on what’s in the update, but they’ve already begun teasing some details.
When the new content goes live, expect some quality of life changes. Using Orbs of Horizon, you’ll be able to reroll Elder and Conqueror Guardian maps. You’ll roll both the base map and the map guardian. Plus, a new inventory feature on the map will let you save a bit of time not having to run repeatedly to your stash for map fragments or scarab pieces. And rolling a lot of maps to set up a longer sequence to run should be faster.
This is been the main new tease ahead of next week’s reveal stream, which will happen on June 5th at 1:00 p.m. PDT on the Path of Exile Twitch channel. (There is one more from composer Kamil Orman-Janowski).
PoE players have been patiently waiting for Secrets of the Atlas, as the devs set up events and other offerings to tide everyone over while they worked on improvements to Path of Exile 2’s Early Access release.
