Update 7.7, “Dynamic Worlds” is now live in Star Wars: The Old Republic. There’s new story content, PvP Season 8, modernization updates, and even more Dynamic Encounters.
Pursue Darth Malgus and Shae Vizla in the new story content that promises mystery and threats. If you’re jumping in for the first time in a while, or revisiting a neglected alt, the new Eras Window offers a visual guide to what each character has completed to get you up to speed quickly.
Dynamic Encounters spread to more planets. Now they’re available on Coruscant, Dromund Kaas, Hutta, Ilum, Korriban, Ord Mantell, and Tython.
For those looking for a challenge, Master Mode Relentless Replication is now available, with victory meaning a way into the new Legendary implants. PvP weeklies and Veteran Mode Relentless Replication will also offer a path to the new augments.
Seven species get new skin color options: Cathar, Chiss, Mirialan, Nautolan, Sith Pureblood, Togruta, and Twi’lek. Chiss texture improvements are also here.
“Champions of the Wild”, PvP Season 8 is now live and runs for 16 weeks. The SWTOR team adds a Cartel Coin purchase option to work similarly to Galactic Seasons. Catch up via coin will still be available.
The update also offers map improvements, including easier quick travel and a way to highlight all available Dynamic Encounters. Mission Log has a new Galaxy Map button to navigate from missions to galactic travel fast.
