Black Desert Online’s latest update focuses on improvements and adding new opportunities for better loot, including a boost to early EXP rewards in monster zones, and to Arena of Solare.
Arena of Solare changes the battlefield from Holbon over to Ruins of Tzol. Ruined of Tzol has a few tweaks, as the The wandering orb normally in the central area has been removed, along with Water’s Chill and Fire’s Warmth. A couple of helpful changes include changing certain items so they can be used even when not in standby mode.
A big part of the update affects world bosses, Awakened forms in particular. Kzarka, Nouver, Karanda, and Kutum have gotten reductions in the number of times their Awakened versions will spawn. However, as a result, when they do spawn, Pearl Abyss is making it extra special because the rewards will be even better. Regular versions now get buffed loot tables so the rewards for defeating these versions of the bosses will be similar to the Awakened ones before these changes, while making the Awakened forms even more special.
Quint, Muraka, and Mirumok Destroyer Offin Also get even better rewards since not many players are subjugating them. So the world boss experience will be a little different and offers some better incentives if you’re looking for a challenge.
The team is also buffing early monster zone EXP to avoid having the Traitor’s Graveyard as the place where everyone feels they have to farm. The intention here is to make sure that different zones also offer similar rewards to spread everyone around.
The notes expand on details and reveal several login rewards campaigns as well as all of the balance changes.
