ARK: Survival Ascended Celebrates 10 Years of ARK With New Content, Engine Upgrade, and New DLC Island

ARK: Survival Ascended is celebrating ARK’s 10th anniversary. The celebration includes an event starting today with new content, including new cosmetics, an emote, tropical party island option, and more. 

The event is livie now through June 17th on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. There’s a 10th anniversary trailer to check out and if you want to dive into the in-game event,  it is on now, featuring party dinos, collecting cake slices for buffs, and even Birthday Suit and Party Hat new cosmetic skins. The DJ Party emote, Rave dance, and Club ARK  tropical island option are there for those who really want to party.
Studio Wildcard also announced that ARK got a new update to Unreal Engine 5.5, which should improve performance in several ways, including better rendering, faster load times, and even a smaller base installation size. 

Finally, if you have the Astraeos DLC, the Lemnokis update brings the DLC’s first big content drop. This means a brand new island featuring various diverse biomes, caves to discover, large Redwood trees, and things to discover like statues and ancient ruins that give things a sense of history as well. The map, which was made by ARK modder Nekatus, also introduces the first duo miniboss encounter of the game.  Kalydonios and Erymanthian are giant boars and they use fire and poison.
