For those looking for a more chaotic time with their besties in space, Wildgate is almost here, with a late July 2025 date announced at Summer Game Fest.
Announced only earlier this year, Wildgate lets players get into shenanigans and combat from planets to space, with frantic tasks including mechanical repair tasks between. Players won’t be alone in this search for a mysterious Artifact—sometimes, you literally have to punch another team’s spaceship shield to get what you want.
Per Wildgate’s Summer Game Fest trailer, this co-op player-versus-player-versus-universe game will come out on July 22, 2025.
If you want to get you and your crew into space before then, that chance will come with a PC demo that’s part of June’s Steam Next Fest. The demo launches at 10:00 a.m. PDT on June 9 and continues until 5:00 p.m. PDT, featuring a bulk of the content available.
Upon this full, newly-announced launch date, Wildgate will also be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
