Age of Wonders 4’s new expansion, Giant Kings, is out today, adding Elder Giants as a new ruler type.
The DLC is available now on all platforms for $24.99 and is included for those who own the game’s expansion pass 2. The Elder Giants can be restored to their place as masters of the Astral Sea, and you can use the new Giant ruler type, access the new Crystal Dwelling, and explore a series of new regions. “Players may explore the ruins of the giants’ fallen empire, seek out forgotten crystal magic to empower their armies, and delve into the depths for lost treasures,” the team announced in a press release.
For all owners of Age of Wonders 4, there’s a new free update, the Ogre Update. In this update there are a series of visual improvements, including environmental details for different locations, like forest visuals for Ashlands Theme. There are new combat maps to shake things up by adding variety. The game will randomly pick from all available maps, including the 10 new ones.
The update also includes a number of improvements, expanded customization, 13 new Pantheon rewards, new realm creation traits, and a series of new Ancient Wonder adventures. This is a big update and you can check out full details in the notes.
