Wolfpack Games announced the Closed Beta last week for their combat-focused social sandbox game, Havenhold. Beginning April 17th on Steam, players will be invited to jump into the ancient mythical city on Kunlun Mountain, and take part in a 14-day cycle of combat and mayhem.
Havenhold is an MMO that strives to offer a unique blend of combat, crafting, and social gameplay within a cyclical structure that resets every 14 days. Players will take on the role of Taichu warrior monks, as they wield the mystical power of Spirit Binding to transform into powerful Primordial avatars.
Each cycle challenges players to ascend Kunlun Mountain, where they will team up with other warriors, build clans, explore intricate PvE dungeons, and battle each other in PvP scenarios. As the cycles conclude, warriors will use their crafted and earned gear for a final climactic battle, with achievements and earned rewards carrying forward to each new cycle as part of player progression.
This isn’t the first public test the Wolfpack Games has had, but if you’re interested in taking part in the upcoming closed beta test, you’ll want to head over to the official Steam page and sign up now by requesting access. Currently, Havenhold is slated for a 2025 Early Access release.
