The annual Spring Celebration sale has arrived in Star Citizen, and with it comes the return of the Career Kits that aim to help players looking to specialize in certain career tracks in the sandbox space MMO. Priced at $10 each, the different “kits” offer a jump-start to acquire weapons, containers, outfits and more that help with certain tasks in the game.
For example, the Combat Career Kit gives a full suit of armor with a rifle and sidearm, a Medical one provides a specific medical device, and there’s even a Salvage one that includes a salvaging multi-tool attachment and a Tractor Beam. Plus, there’s one called “Ready For Anything” that offers a Multi-Tool, a Mining attachment, and more for a more well-rounded solo adventure
The Spring Celebration in the store also brings some new ship skins, plus a sale on a pack that changes the ship’s voices.
After passing $800 million in pledge funding, Star Citizen is currently cruising through its Alpha 4.1 patch while tests for the 4.1.1 patch are underway for certain backers.
