Just a day before the mobile launch, Once Human is dropping a decently-size update that brings bikes, beans, and more to the free-to-play post-apocalyptic survival shooter.
The new bike is essentially a new “vehicle” type that lets players traverse the land on- and off-road and, more importantly, do cool air tricks. Another player, or four, can also hop on the back for what they call “some completely unhinged group stunts.” Players can get this by constructing the bike on the work bench.
Those who love capybaras will also be glad to hear that the little guys will now occasionally give “capybara beans” while idling that grant players temporary bonuses.
Further, there are new major construction blocks, including “mirrored” directional stairs, and the new Team Lobby feature launches today with this update, letting players sign up for a squad within the server together. This patch also seems to prepare the game and its players for the mobile arrival; those who log in with both a PC and mobile account get special rewards, including a vehicle skin and a cosmetic.
The game goes down at 4:00 p.m. PDT today, and maintenance will take approximately three hours, according to the full update post, which shares the slate of additions, fixes, and more.
