Old School RuneScape has a new boss to confront, as Great Kourend gets a new update adding Yama, The Master of Pacts. If you’re a RuneScape member, this new endgame boss is now ready for new challenges.
This new update picks up after A Kingdom Divided from 2021. If you haven’t finished that quest, you’ll have to complete it first before you can take on the new quest and the new boss. At the end, Yama’s Judge was defeated and now, well, Yama himself waits. The minotaur fire demon boss has been gathering power and of course threatens Gielinor with that power he has accumulated, aided by his devoted Disciples of Yama.
If you’re ready, head into the Chasm of Fire to face the winged, hooved fire demon wielding a giant axe. Before you head too deep inside though, explore the area for a new mining activity and smithing area. There, harvest Crimson Lovakite to forge into Oathplate armor.
When you’re ready to face the endgame boss, you can try it solo, but Yama is a duo-focused boss, so keep that in mind. If you’re victorious, rewards include Demon Tallow, used to make Surge potions, the Chasm of Fire Teleport Scroll, for easier farming (and mining), the Grimoire Page, and more.
