Sea of Stars now has a huge free DLC expansion, Throes of the Watchmaker, with more than 8 hours of new content.
Zale and Valere are back, and they need help from the Watchmaker, which she will give as long as they help her out too. The main quest is set in a new area, Horloge, described as a miniature clockwork world featuring danger posed by a cursed carnival. The DLC features a new quest and another returning character, Keenathan, a pirate that you originally encountered during the main quest in the Sea of Stars campaign. You start a new adventure, learn his true name, and meet new friends and enemies along the way.
Explore the world of Horloge, the cursed carnival, and meet the Puppeteer, whose mischief threatens everything. Expect new dungeons, new enemies, and even new combat classes that fit the carnival’s theme and rules. Zale becomes the Juggler and Valere is the Acrobat. Discover new abilities and combos. Also, this time, as a playable character, you’ll team up with laser-wielding Arty, the Artificer robot. Together, you can use new combat abilities and party combos.
There are also some carnival style minigames to let you test out your new abilities, and take on new challenges.
