Star Wars: The Old Republic update 7.7, Dynamic Worlds, will go live next week on May 28th. The Legacy of the Sith storyline continues with Malgus’ next mysterious plans in “Galactic Threads”, the first of two story updates Broadsword announced in a 7.7 preview.
You’ll have to pursue Malgus and Shae Vizla, and investigate a number of things including Darth Nul’s holocron and a threat from the Hidden Chain. The second story update, Master’s Enigma, follow the events of the first immediately and will open up even more mysteries, including with the holocron and a mysterious puppet master figure..
The Eras Window offers a visual overview of your journey throughout SWTOR with each character, separated into eras and you can easily see where all of your characters have reached and what you’ve done on. The mission log also gets some updates and improvements, including easier navigation and adjusted UI.

The update will also add new customization options, with seven species (Cathar, Chiss, Mirialan, Nautolan, Sith Pureblood, Togruta, and Twi’lek) getting new skin color options. There are additional character modernization updates including more definition changes and Chiss texture improvements. The preview window will offer parity with the game, so no more dressing your character and then looking totally different when you get in game.
Expect new PVP seasons, more dynamic encounters, the return of the Nar Shaddaa Nightlife Event, and much more.
