Throne and Liberty is highlighting new content on the way, including this week’s Interserver Castle Siege mode, pitting Stoneguard Castle owners from different servers in a PvP event. Speaking of PvP, improvements are on the way to help spark things after community feedback about a static-feeling PvP meta.
The new info comes in the latest Tico Talks episode. The T&L team is planning to shake up the PVP meta with some changes that they’ve considered in order to not invalidate or cancel out people’s builds. There will be back and side attacks to increase your damage and be more effective against evasion and endurance stacking. In essence, these should encourage more aggressive play, and will be added on May 29th. Date, earrings will also be added as a new gear slot.
These changes are the first step in response to feedback on PvP and PvE endgame content. Dimensional Trials and Nebula Island have admittedly come up a bit short. The first, in providing satisfying repeatable PvE content and for Nebula Island, the decision to release as mixed PvE-PvP content didn’t work for some dedicated PVP players. Both are set for additional improvements the team will share later.
The Interserver Castle Siege is also happening on May 29th. Winners get tax-related rewards, bragging rights and temporary benefits that last until the next interserver siege, including serverwide perks.
Finally, we look ahead towards the first 12 player raid, coming June 26th, which will include more powerful gear drops, as well as new weapon customization.
