Fractured Online Team Shares Character Management, Environmental Art Updates Before Revamp Shutdown

Ahead of the game’s planned releaunch, Fractured Online is showing off some of the new updates to environment stylization and the Character Management Tool.
As a quick recap, Fractured Online will shut down next month for massive overhauls and reaunch in 2026. Before the shutdown announcement, the team had already previewed some of the graphics, and as of this new blog, they’ve completed the Steppe zone, leaving them with four more biomes.

Meanwhile, their new Character Management tool has been completed. The Happy Cauldron team is touting higher-resolution graphics, better color customizations, more character identity visual choices, and more trims for each armor.
Finally, there’s a reminder Q&A for those who bought extra packages on top of their Fractured Online access. Those with VIP status had their status “paused” from January 1 this year; purchases will be retained, and those who bought packs will receive the “equivalent” of the original upon relaunch.
The estimated Fractured Online re-launch window is Q1 next year, with possible playtests in Q3 this year; at the very least, this blog shows they’re serious about getting this out, even before the shutdown.
