Evercore Heroes: Ascension, Vela Games’ team-based action roguelite, has a new playable demo, and will enter Early Access on June 19th.
In the game, the Evercore is shattered and needs to be rebuilt. You are a Luum sentinel, one of those whose job it is to help rebuild the Evercore in a battle to restore balance to magic in the world. Choose your hero, pick your role–DPS, tank, healer, support– and go on runs to try and save the world of Lumerea together. The game was overhauled and lots of systems rebuilt to the co-op roguelite that’s on the way.
When Early Access arrives, we can expect six class-based heroes to choose from. There will be two co-op strike runs for teams of three, along with matchmaking support. There will also be three solo runs to get you going in the game, before or in between co-op matches.
Each run will also have evolving objectives and there will be ways to upgrade and customize your build as you play. There are also permanent, persistent core powers.
Servers will be in North America and Europe, and the game will support seven languages just at launch.
The game will also be part of Steam Next Fest, and any progress you make in the just-released demo will carry over. Early Access will run you €11.49 / $12.49 / £9.99, with a launch discount to be announced.
Vela will release an Early Access roadmap, with new heroes, new regions, missions, and more, before the launch.
