Marvel Games and NetEase have shared a more in-depth look at the Ultron’s Battle Matrix game mode that will be coming to Marvel Rivals. It will arrive on June 6 and will last until June 23, 2025. For those who caught a glimpse during the Season 3 trailer, Marvel Rivals will be receiving its own TFT (or Team Fight Tactics) through this temporary game mode.
In this game mode, players will be able to select a team of heroes from the roster of Marvel Rivals and position them on the field to duke it out against enemy teams in this auto-battler. As you progress, you will be able to select various traits that include the option to reduce the time needed to use an Ultimate Ability, and so forth.
Marvel Rivals is in no short supply of limited time game-modes. While not too different from Quick Play, for a brief period of time players could jump into the Big Head game mode — which more or less just made the head of the character you were playing oversized. So nothing too crazy, and not as different as something like Ultron’s Battle Matrix.
