NC America launches its remastered classic MMORPG Blade & Soul NEO on Steam tomorrow. This follows the release on the NCSoft Purple platform, where it has been getting new content updates since the game’s February launch.
NC America has not yet shared the server opening time, but they have confirmed some launch details. Both North America and Europe will get one new server. These new servers offer a fresh start for those who want to begin adventures on a level playing field. North America will have four servers and Europe will have three after this.
Steam and Purple will have full cross-play compatibility. You’ll also be able to access any server in your region from whichever platform you choose to play on. So maybe you roll a new character on the server opening tomorrow on Steam and then you decide to go play on Purple again. You can create a character on an existing server, especially if you’ve got friends there already. Finally, you can play your existing characters on Steam by linking your accounts. Perfect for the achievement chasers.
To get everyone started, there will be a new player catch up event accompanying the new launch and it will be open to new players as well as returning players who haven’t played in at least 30 days. There are also some launch gifts, Steam and Purple inspired outfits, you get to choose which one you want and we’ll get more details on these soon.
