Rift is bringing back its Corgi Month event from last year, with nifty in-game titles and contests with shots at in-game prizes.
The main in-game event is this weekend with special event Life Rifts, where you literally become a corgi and have to round up sheep to defend them against wolves and bears. You’ll get two titles out of this one, “Suddenly, Corgis” and “of House Fluffington.” And if danger isn’t your thing, they’re running a “Best Companion” photo contest for credits.
Those who don’t want to go in-game, or who just want to take a supposedly bizarre quiz, can take Rift’s random quiz with zero correct answers. Once it opens up on June 11, it’s actually a raffle of sorts, and six participants will get 1000 Credits each. And, anyone who participates in this contest or the companion one gets a chance to win one of three corgi reindeer “ugly sweater” items, too, with the winners announced on July 13.
The long story short is, Rift’s in-game corgi action is now until June 10 at 5:00 a.m. PDT, so if you want the titles, now’s the time.
